AdventNet Enhances App Tester

PLEASANTON, Calif. -- AdventNet Inc., the leading provider of affordable network and systems management software for enterprises, equipment vendors, and service providers, today announced the release of an enhanced version of the QEngine WebTest. AdventNet QEngine WebTest is a feature-rich software testing tool that optimizes rapid and effective functional testing of Web applications and maximizes ROI for QA professionals and Webmasters responsible for testing and maintaining web sites.

QEngine webTest is an extensive, platform-independent test automation tool used to test: Web Functionality, Web Performance, Web services, Functional, API, and Regression. It is the first test automation tool to support both the Internet Explorer and Mozilla browsers. It comes with an easy-to-use user interface to completely automate the creation of sophisticated test scripts as well as recording and playback of Web browser events in IE and Mozilla on Windows, as well as Linux platforms. It provides full support for dynamically generated Web applications, whether they are based on Java, .NET, PHP, or any other middleware foundation.

QEngine introduces Web Performance testing as a new feature in this new enhanced version. Web Performance Test Tool features include:

Distributed Playback support for large number of virtual user simulation Session Tracking with Cookies / URL redirection Virtual User Simulation with a provision to assign a unique IP to each user Parameterization allows dynamic values from DB, CSV or response for Authorization, URL Parameters and form fields HTML based reports and graphs to analyze performance bottlenecks of web applications Server monitoring capability to monitor the CPU and Memory of Web servers "With the newly enhanced QEngine WebTest, we offer QA professionals a valuable and affordable solution for testing Web applications, saving them time and money," said Shyamala, product manager at AdventNet, Inc.
