(NASDAQ: NTGR), a global networking company, has selected the MxL267 Full-Spectrum Capture (FSCTM) digital cable front-end receiver for a new family of DOCSIS 3.0 cable modems and gateways.
First in NETGEAR’S new cable gateway family, the CG4500TM, recently achieved certification from CableLabs®. The CG4500TM is a high-speed gateway designed using the MxL267 24-channel DOCSIS 3.0 receiver.
The CG4500 product series is the latest in NETGEAR’s line of DOCSIS-certified cable gateways featuring high performance voice and data network services. The CG4500TM gateway includes extensive LAN and voice connectivity options, in addition to being easy to install and maintain. Furthermore, the CG4500TM gateway delivers extensive network service and feature controls, which simplify deployment by cable operators.
