STOCKHOLM -- Tele2 AB (Tele2), (NASDAQ OMX Stockholm Exchange: TEL2 A and TEL2 B) today announced that it has obtained 2x 10 MHz spectrum (2 licenses) in the 800 MHz band during the multiband frequency auction in the Netherlands. The cost of the two licences is SEK 1.4 billion.

With the acquired spectrum in the 800 MHz band and earlier obtained spectrum in the 2.600 MHz band, Tele2 will roll out a next generation 4G network, offering businesses and consumers higher speed and lower pricing for mobile broadband.
