DENVER -- Dish Network Corp. (Nasdaq: DISH) held its annual retailer summit at the Colorado Convention Center last week, giving its thousands of retail partners a sneak peek at the company's product plans and offering tips to help drive sales for the year ahead.
We missed out on all the entertainment, including appearances by Jason Alexander, Bret Michaels and Daughtry. [Ed. note: "Entertainment?"] But we did catch the business end, as Dish executives served up details on how it will start to put its recent acquisitions of Move Networks and Blockbuster Inc. to work, and how it will soon have its own triple-play bundle thanks to its purchase of Liberty Bell, a CLEC that leases access from Qwest (now CenturyLink Inc. (NYSE: CTL)). (See Dish Makes Its Adaptive Streaming Move.)
And of course, we had a camera. Click on any of the images below to start up a slide show from our jaunt around the show floor.
