RCN Snares More Ethernet Business

HERNDON, Va. -- RCN Metro Optical Networks, a division of RCN Corporation (NASDAQ:RCNI - News) and a premier provider of fiber optic-based network solutions, announced today that it was selected to provide dedicated Internet service to Lombardi & Co. Inc, a leading provider of access and trading technologies and services to institutional investors. RCN Metro will provide dedicated Internet service to Lombardi & Co. Inc. on the floor of a major, New York-based financial exchange as well as to Lombardi's corporate offices in New York, NY.

Lombardi & Co. Inc. provides institutional clients direct access to the trading floor by focusing on state-of-the-art technology and superior customer service.
