Dataflex ExpandsDecember 7, 2006 | Post a comment
no ratings LEATHERHEAD, U.K. -- DATAFLEX, a leading designer and manufacturer of VoIP access solutions for telecoms carriers and service providers, today announced substantial growth and profitability following several major customer wins in Europe and new business in South America and Australia. Dataflex has doubled its year on year revenue over 2006 and expects 2007 to be its most profitable year to date. “We have worked incredibly hard to put together a product portfolio that reflects the diverse needs of the service provider community and taken the time to gain all the relevant interoperability accreditation which has led to a number of major customer wins throughout the world and strong growth across the entire product range including the POTS, BRI and PRI variants,” comments Adam O’Hare, Business Director. Dataflex has doubled its engineering team and developed a number of new product lines including a residential ADSL2+ solution featuring a combination of BRI, POTS with wireless access. Dataflex has also delivered a low cost Auto Provisioning Software solution to help reduce deployment and ongoing management costs for service providers. “Our wins including major service providers in Chile, Spain, France and Australia have led to further customer interest across these regions,” comments O’Hare. “A key part of our future global growth is the completion of formal agreements with major softswitch vendors which has expanded our channel to market.” Dataflex is currently finalising approvals for the launch of its ViNE1104a and ViNE1108a into the US market and is currently in discussion with undisclosed US distributors. Both products have received much praise from internal trials at several US service providers as an “all-in-one” voice and data unit for the SOHO or SME markets.
