Com Hem Gets Secure With Verimatrix

February 19, 2013 |
SAN DIEGO, Calif. -- Verimatrix, the specialist in securing and enhancing revenue for multi-network, multi-screen digital TV services around the globe, and Com Hem, a leading supplier of pay-television, high-speed broadband and fixed-telephony to 1.74 million connected households in Sweden, today announced that the Verimatrix Video Content Authority System (VCAS(TM)) has been selected to secure Com Hem's advanced multi-screen TV services scheduled to launch Spring 2013. The new service will be delivered via the TiVo advanced television solution.

Verimatrix VCAS solutions provide a complete security infrastructure for advanced multi-network pay-TV services. Com Hem's broadcast and hybrid STBs will feature advanced cardless ViewRight(R) clients that complement enhanced HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) ViewRight Web support for PC/Mac, tablet and mobile devices -- all from a single conditional access (CA) platform.
