4:25 PM -- Here's what's happening over at Contentinople:

  • R. Scott Raynovich presents us with Digital Hollywood: The Condensed Version. The hottest new channel, HavocTV, combines original ad-supported content (Cali sports, of course!), music, and interactivity. Gaia Online monetizes its virtual community, and ImageSpan makes digital content licensing sexy. There's still work to be done though, as ExpoTV reminds us that video search is virtually non-existent and video isn't easily integrated.

  • MySpace tries to stay competitive with the announcement of Data Availability, which the company envisions as a users' hub on the Web. Deals have already been struck between the social networking site and Yahoo, Photobucket, Twitter, and eBay. Say it together now: targeted advertising!

And in News Bits: NBC streams (free!) episodes of 30 Rock and The Office on iPhones using Quicktime. Super Deluxe gets folded into Adult Swim and ABC News experiments in colleges.
