YORK, Pa. -- United Fiber & Data, LLC ("UFD"), a leading telecommunications firm, has engaged the executive management services of former Vonage President Michael Tribolet as Acting Chief Executive Officer. Joining Mr. Tribolet are Acting CFO Brian Mass and business development advisor Charles Gaspari, Esq. The new leadership team will immediately transition into their roles joining COO Chris Lodge in daily operations.

"By unanimous decision, our board of directors voted to hire Mr. Tribolet, Mr. Mass and Mr. Gaspari to lead our company. They're joining an operational team that has been hard at work constructing our New York fiber ring and preparing for construction of our data center and fiber infrastructure. We feel this management team will keep UFD on the forefront of data transference and storage, while positioning the company for future success," said UFD Chairman Chad Taylor.

United Fiber & Data recently began construction of a 13-mile metro fiber ring in Lower Manhattan that interconnects with the city's largest hotel carriers. The company has secured a plethora of long-term contracts with some of the industry's top clients. The company also plans on breaking ground for its first Tier-4 data center in York, Pennsylvania later this year. UFD is constructing a diverse long-haul fiber backbone that extends from Manhattan to Ashburn, Virginia. "I'm an executive who prides myself on working with companies that disrupt the status quo and break new ground. During my tenure at Vonage, we made the telecommunication's industry rethink their entire game plan. There is tremendous potential that United Fiber & Data can do the same. My job is to harness the hard work of the founders and couple it with my team's industry intelligence to create and deliver on our objectives," said Acting CEO Michael Tribolet.
