Aricent Runs on Freescale

BARCELONA -- The Aricent Group, a global innovation and technology services company, today announced that they will be collaborating with Alvarion (NASDAQ: ALVR), a provider of optimized wireless broadband solutions addressing the connectivity, coverage and capacity challenges of public and private networks, as a development partner for its LTE based solution for Time Division LTE (TD-LTE) networks.

"TD-LTE is a strategic technology that we believe will be a critical component of the LTE ecosystem," explained Aricent Group Vice President of Business Development, Rakesh Vij. "Network equipment manufacturers need to accelerate the readiness of their products for this technology, and can benefit significantly from Aricent's pre-packaged software frameworks as well as professional services and expertise. Alvarion selected Aricent because of our proven software frameworks and professional services."
