Click! Click! The Nokia N82

9:15 AM -- Lots of buzz about the new Nokia Corp. (NYSE: NOK) N82 camera phone, which is being touted as the successor to firm's N95 multimedia phone.

The $660 phone has an onboard five megapixel camera and represents a somewhat expensive alternative to carrying a standalone digital camera. A consumer-grade five- or six-megapixel camera generally costs in the region of $150 to $250, but Nokia is betting that users would prefer to have snapshot capabilities bundled in the phone.

The Finnish phone leader has no announced plans yet to sell the gizmo in the U.S.
