Signs landmark agreement with city of Vienna, Austria, for last-mile fiber optic deployment

SILVER SPRING, Md. -- CityNet TelecommunicationsInc., the leader in last-mile broadband infrastructure, today announced thatit has signed a landmark license and access agreement with the City ofVienna, Austria, permitting the company to use Vienna’s sewer system tobuild last-mile fiber optic networks. Vienna becomes CityNet’s firstEuropean city and the fourth city overall to sign such an agreement.
