ANDOVER, Mass. -- Casa Systems, a worldwide leader in next generation cable edge technology, today announced that the company’s C10G Cable Modem Termination System (CMTS) has been selected by Citycable, the cable operator of Lausanne, Switzerland, to support its rapid growth in high quality advanced video, voice, and high speed data services to its residential and business customers.
Citycable, located in Lausanne, home to the International Olympic Committee, currently offers triple play services to over 70,000 business and residential subscribers.
The company has been doubling its bandwidth every 15 months in order to meet the ever-increasing demands from its customers. This explosive demand in conjunction with Citycables’ desire to launch new, multimedia CCAP based services lead them to evaluate alternative platforms.
A CSP's digital transformation involves so much more than technology. Crucial – and often most challenging – is the cultural transformation that goes along with it. As Sigma's Chief Technology Officer, Catherine Michel has extensive experience with technology as she leads the company's entire product portfolio and strategy. But she's also no stranger to merging technology and culture, having taken a company — Tribold — from inception to acquisition (by Sigma in 2013), and she continues to advise service providers on how to drive their own transformations. This impressive female leader and vocal advocate for other women in the industry will join Women in Comms for a live radio show to discuss all things digital transformation, including the cultural transformation that goes along with it.
