BARCELONA and SAN DIEGO -- Continuous Computing® Corporation, global provider of Network Service-ReadyPlatforms(tm) that enable telecom equipment manufacturers to rapidly deploy converged communications, today announced that company president PJ Go has been affirmed as Continuous Computing's permanent chief executive officer by the board of directors. After serving as the interim CEO during the past eight months, Mr. Go will formally take the helm and continue to lead the company to the forefront of the telecom infrastructure industry.

In related news, Randy Lunn, a founding partner of venture capital firm Palomar Ventures and one of the A-round investors in Continuous Computing in July 1998, will now serve as Continuous Computing's chairman of the board.

With Mr. Go and Mr. Lunn established in their leadership roles, the company's board of directors demonstrates a deep commitment to the company as an integrated telecom infrastructure "pure play."

Board member and Technology Crossover Ventures general partner Will Griffith summarized the company's excitement about Mr. Go's appointment: "Continuous Computing marks a new era of leadership with PJ Go as CEO, who has demonstrated the vision necessary to take this company to the next level.

The board stands behind his appointment and we are confident that he will lead the way for Continuous Computing to become one of the premier 'pure play' telecom infrastructure firms."

Mr. Go's knowledge of the company, customers, and telecom infrastructure industry will be a strong asset to the CEO position. As a co-founder of Continuous Computing and president since its inception, Mr. Go's perspective made him particularly well suited for the role. His experience spans telecom system architecture, module design, system test, compliance requirements, customer support, and sales. Mr. Go has a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the California Institute of Technology.

"The mission of Continuous Computing is to deliver the best total solution of products and services that enhance telecom equipment manufacturers'abilities to deliver converged communications," said Mr. Go. "I am honored to have the trust and confidence of the board and I will continue to work closely with my talented management team to take advantage of the numerous opportunities available in the 3G Wireless, Voice over IP, and IP Multimedia Subsystem markets. No other company offers our unique combination of Trillium® protocol software, AdvancedTCA and CompactPCI systems, and professional services."
