DUBLIN -- Amartus, a leading innovator of dynamic, run-time programmable meta-model driven multi-vendor service management and orchestration software solutions for Telecoms, today announced its Chameleon Software-Defined Services (SDS) service deployment platform now supports integration with OpenStack.

This latest release provides operators with expanded capabilities to rapidly orchestrate and turn up end-to-end cloud and WAN services.

This OpenStack support is available via Chameleon SDS’s unique ‘on-the-fly’ run-time loaded meta-data (XML configuration) architecture that allows Cloud service components to be introduced without the need for new code, recompilation, or platform testing.

“Never before have I seen operators pursue new technology with the speed they are adopting cloud, NFV and SDN. While these technologies offer flexible, virtualized resources, operators need real-time service orchestration solutions like Chameleon SDS to quickly exploit their benefits in the services they offer,” said Michael Kearns, Amartus CEO.

Through the integration, Chameleon SDS can leverage compute, network, storage and software resources that are managed by OpenStack and combine them with reliable, guaranteed WAN network services. At the core of this solution is the dynamic, run-time programmable service catalogue based architecture of Chameleon SDS, which is already proven in the WAN for complex layer-two, and layer-three network services.
