3:15 PM -- Today's Light Reading Readers' Choice Person of the Year Award poll update (see Light Reading's Person of the Year: The Finalists):

Nortel's Philippe Morin was yesterday's vote magnet. Today, Ericsson's Carl-Henric Svanberg has executed a brilliant campaign to win back some Leading Lights credibility.

The winner of the Person of the Year Award -- and all our other Leading Lights Awards -- will be announced at a special awards dinner on October 15 in New York City following the first day of our Ethernet Expo.

The Person of the Year poll closes September 28, which is also the entry deadline for the remaining Leading Lights awards categories. To submit your entry for Leading Lights, go to www.lightreading.com/awards.
