Cable's Canoe Seeks Ad Insertion Accreditation

February 04, 2013 |
DENVER -- Canoe Ventures, an advertising technology company that provides software and services to national television programming networks, announced today it has entered into the pre-audit phase of the Media Rating Council’s (MRC) accreditation process for its Video On Demand Dynamic Ad Insertion (VOD DAI) Reporting service.

Canoe’s service provides ad impression delivery reports to its National Programming clients who utilize the Canoe VOD Dynamic Ad Insertion service. The MRC sets standards for audience measurement for the media industry and administers an audit and accreditation process to verify compliance with those standards. Services determined by MRC to be in compliance with its Standards and other applicable industry measurement guidelines are granted MRC accreditation, which is widely recognized as a seal of quality throughout the media advertising buy/sell ecosystem.

Subsequent to the pre-audit, which is currently underway, Canoe is committed to submit to a comprehensive audit of the VOD DAI service, to be conducted by an independent CPA firm engaged by the MRC. The completed audit will be reviewed by an MRC audit committee, which ultimately will make a recommendation on the accreditation status of Canoe Venture’s VOD DAI service.
