LENEXA, Kan. -- The National Cable Television Cooperative, Inc. (NCTC) membership has surpassed 100 participating member companies on its TV Everywhere authentication solution known as WatchTVEverywhere (“WTVE”). This milestone achievement now places WTVE as the most widely deployed solution by volume of distributors ahead of all other solutions combined. The WTVE platform has accelerated integrations and now includes more than 50 major programming services. WTVE’s adaptability is further proven by its ability to support a wide variety of member billing systems. NCTC has WTVE member affiliates with fewer than 500 subscribers and has attracted members with as many as 200,000 subscribers.

NCTC Member Paul Venturella of RMA Broadband and Cable TV in Rancho Murieta, Calif. , commented: “WTVE is the only way as a small system we could afford to offer this innovative service to our cable customers. The WTVE platform enables NCTC to deliver a viable solution to its members at a fraction of the expense yet ensuring integrity in managing content rights between operators and content providers.”
