Disney/ABC Television Group has hired Karin Gilford as senior vice president, Digital Media for the ABC Television Network

LOS ANGELES -- Dedicated to expanding its network and channel brands across multiple platforms and connecting viewers with their favorite shows, Disney/ABC Television Group has hired Karin Gilford as senior vice president, Digital Media for the ABC Television Network, it was announced today by Albert Cheng, executive vice president, digital media, Disney/ABC Television Group.

As senior vice president, Digital Media for the ABC Television Network, Karin Gilford is responsible for ABC’s digital media initiatives including ABC.com, the official online home of the ABC Network’s Primetime, Daytime, and Late Night programs, as well as the network’s digital efforts on mobile platforms and interactive television technologies. Based in Burbank, she reports to Mr. Cheng.
