SK Broadband deploys Arris E6000 for faster network in South Korea.

SEOUL -- SK Broadband, a leading integrated communications company in South Korea, is deploying the E6000 Converged Edge Router (CER) from ARRIS Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: ARRS), enabling the service provider to launch its new 1GB data service, as well as enhanced entertainment experiences.

The ARRIS E6000 CER is a Converged Cable Access Platform (CCAP) that has been deployed worldwide and now provides service to over 1 million subscribers. South Korean consumers are demanding more content, at faster speeds and on more connected devices. The CCAP platform from ARRIS will enable operators, such as SK Broadband, to scale to these challenges, while meeting the demand for more high-quality content anytime, on any device wherever they are.
