Time Warner Cable Business Class (TWCBC) has announced the availability of a new voice solution—SIP (Session Initiated Protocol) Trunks. TWCBC’s SIP Trunks offer a flexible and cost-effective alternative to traditional TDM-based voice trunk services for those businesses with IP (Internet Protocol) PBX equipment.
Delivered over TWCBC’s extensive fiber-rich network, this robust SIP Trunk offering includes dedicated bandwidth for voice calls so voice traffic no longer competes for bandwidth with data traffic. The SIP Trunk offering includes:
Unlimited local calling, Caller ID, Inbound/Outbound Call Blocking, Calling Name and Number Delivery
Business continuity features such as Alternate Routing, which re-routes calls to another destination when the primary location is not available
A trunk administration portal for managing service features, accessing online call detail, and on-demand reporting
Flexible options to purchase as few as six call paths, and the ability to add more call paths one at a time.
