Internet Protocol Detail Record (IPDR)

Internet Protocol Detail Record, led by the TM Forum, provides a uniform way to collect various types of data from the network infrastructure. This includes gathering data from directly form network sources such as modems and other IP devices. The upshot: IPDR may provide better visibility into what's occurring on the network. Those who like IPDR believe it's more efficient and scalable than SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol).
