HANOVER, Germany -- As Executive Director of Central Europe Erwin Trautmann is responsible for all sales of mission-critical systems and broadband systems.

KEYMILE is a leading supplier of communications solutions in access and transmission systems. On 1 April, Erwin Trautmann took on the new role of Executive Director Central Europe at the company. KEYMILE’s business involves the core markets of mission-critical communications and broadband systems.

After various strategic-sales-management jobs at international companies in the telecommunications and software industry, such as Redback/Ericsson, Broadsoft, Nominum and Hitachi, Erwin Trautmann’s last position was as Vice President of Sales at Sandvine. The latter is a leading Canadian supplier of broadband-network solutions for operators of fixed-line networks and mobile networks. Part of this job included setting up and managing sales networks in German-speaking countries, Benelux, Central Europe and Russia/CIS.

"By appointing Erwin Trautmann we’ll be strengthening our sales force in the Central European region and underpinning our focus on mission-critical and broadband systems, both of which will be his sphere of activity”, explains Axel Föry, Chief Sales Officer in Hanover and in charge of KEYMILE’s global sales activities. "I’m delighted that Erwin Trautmann will be able to boost our technical expertise and build on sales experience with IP-transformation, security and SDN-architectures and therefore offer our customers even greater added value”.
