Bridging the Chasm

Light Reading believes that service providers need to make a fundamental change to the way they're organized if they have aspirations to be more than just utility bit pipes. This change, which we call Bridging the Chasm, starts with service providers bringing their networks and IT teams together as a single, integrated unit.

Our Bridging the Chasm: A Manifesto explains why these related, but currently disparate, teams must work as one if service providers are to compete effectively with app stores, over-the-top video providers and other Web-centric rivals.
