Boingo announced a roaming agreement with SingTel adding more than 347 locations in Singapore to the Boingo Roaming System

SANTA MONICA, Calif. -- Boingo Wireless, the world's leading wholesale Wi-Fi network aggregator, today announced a roaming agreement with Singapore Telecommunications Ltd. (SingTel) adding more than 347 locations in Singapore to the Boingo® Roaming System.

SingTel operates wireless hot spots in key locations across the country, including the Millennia Walk shopping center, Raffles City shopping center, Starbucks, Spinelli and Gelare cafes, popular eateries such as DeliFrance and Burger King, restaurants like Ichiban Boshi, Kuishin Bo, clubs like Ministry of Sound, tourist attractions like Sentosa as well as many country clubs, libraries and hotels.

SingTel is one of the largest communications providers in Asia, and its Wi-Fi network offers Boingo subscribers additional access points in a country that is vital to doing business in the region. Major Asian business hubs in the Boingo network also include China and Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Taiwan and the Philippines.

Boingo users can connect to any of these locations with a single Boingo account using Boingo's free Wi-Fi client software, which combines more than 660 network names into one "Boingo Wireless®" network to simplify identifying and connecting to commercial Wi-Fi networks.

The program provides partners with access to this network, customized client software, and a full suite of back-office billing, roaming, mediation and clearinghouse services to allow them to offer their own Wi-Fi service quickly and cost effectively. To date, the company has announced Platform Services partnerships with BT Infonet, EarthLink, Fiberlink, Helio LLC, Nextel Communications, Verizon Business, and Telecom Italia.
