Huawei Ups Its Security Charm Offensive
10:00 AM -- Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd. has published a white paper, Cyber Security Perspectives: 21st century technology and security -- a difficult marriage, to set out the challenges faced by us all in these modern times, and to deny any wrongdoing in terms of intellectual property theft or security breaches, a position the company is increasingly keen to articulate given the increasing weight of speculation about its activities and intentions. (See Huawei Denied German Bid, Huawei Ban Row Escalates, More Security Woes for Huawei and Huawei's Open Letter to the US.)
Robert Clark, a regular contributor to Light Reading, has written an excellent blog following the launch of the paper. I'd encourage everyone to read his article, Huawei makes its case on security.
