Unicom's Inglorious Award

This is like something from a bad movie … A branch of China Unicom Ltd. recently introduced what our Asia/Pacific contributing editor Robert Clark has described as "a staff motivational technique missing from the textbooks."

The scheme? Force managers who missed their targets to wear a green vest bearing the word "b*stard."
