What to See at IBC

6:15 AM -- The annual IBC show opens Thursday in Amsterdam (with the conference element on day one, followed by main event), so expect a welter of news announcements about all things related to pay TV, video, content delivery networks (CDNs), home networking and a multitude of boxes with flashing lights (and even some really expensive ones that go "PING").

The show, which boasts more than 1,300 exhibitors and which is expecting more than 50,000 attendees (that's a lot of potential business for the Dutch capital's coffee shops…), lasts six days and is set to feature hundreds of new products and services.

We'll be running selected news items and press releases from the event in the coming days. Here's a selection of some of the early items of interest:
