12:25 PM -- At last, all our Mobile World Congress 2011 booth tours have been published, along with their highly subjective grades.

We approached seven vendors in advance of the Barcelona event, agreed the rules and a time to visit, and gave them them all just 10 minutes to talk about the three products they felt were the most important/cutting-edge/game-changing, etc.

We took notes and photos, and awarded grades based on overall performance (presentation, relevance, communications skills, ability to deliver within the allotted time and agreed-to format) with the following results:

So the question is -- who got the best, and worst, grades?

A year ago, NEC took the honors following its debut tour. (See Booth Photo Tour Report Card.)

However, it couldn't repeat that feat, as it ended up closer to Cisco Systems Inc. (Nasdaq: CSCO), which propped up the table, than it did to Ericsson AB (Nasdaq: ERIC), which scored this year's highest grade.

Table 1: MWC 2011 Booth Photo Tour Grades

Ranking Vendor MWC 2011 Photo Booth Tour Grade
1 Ericsson A
2 Alcatel-Lucent A-
3 Nokia Siemens Networks A--
4 ZTE B++
5 Huawei B
6 NEC B-
7 Cisco C-
