No hair tearing, no histrionics.  Might be nice to add some technical and economic clue and proportionality as well.

Hi Mark,

Indeed, that's so -- it's inherently fractious.

And the tone of the debates in the US and EU are quite different. Over here, the industry is addressing the matter with a kind of quiet determination, which isn't exactly how I would describe the debate in the US.

The EC is looking to publish its position on net neutrality by the end of this year.

There are very few matters that are inherently more fractious than the net neutrality debate.
