The math formula displayed is the number of interconnections needed if you're going to link every server to every other server.  (But you knew that, right?)

Andy Ingram really did use that in his presentation. It sets him up for the punchline, "n=1," which represents the Stratus case. (To spell it out: n=1 means the number of interconnects equals zero -- meaning, as Juniper keeps saying, the data center looks like one logical switch on the network.)

It's not a new message, but it's put in a new marketing container. That's the kind of thing I found interesting here.  But like I said, I don't know how Juniper's engineering-heavy customers will react to the new voice
