BigBand Lands Millennium Digital for CMTS Pact

BigBand Networks is making inroads with its new lineup of cable modem termination system (CMTS) gear. BigBand, which took over ADC's Cuda line earlier this year, announced today that it has landed Millennium Digital Media as its latest customer. Millennium Digital, one of the 25 largest MSOs in the U.S. with 130,000 basic cable subscribers, is deploying the Cuda 12000 and compact Cuda 3000 CMTS platforms to deliver advanced IP voice and data services. Millennium Digital is also making use of BigBand's FastFlow Broadband Provisioning Manager, a related suite of provisioning software. The St. Louis-based MSO operates in four states--Maryland, Michigan, Washington and Oregon.
