AT&T Inc. has bumped the number of 4G LTE towns and cities it supports up to 175."AT&T’s 4G LTE covers more than 170 million people -- we more than doubled the number of people covered by 4G LTE in 2012 (vs. year-end 2011) and we expect to cover 300M people with 4G LTE by year-end 2014, planning to reach 250M by year-end 2013," a spokesman for the operator said in an email Wednesday.The operator has added 14 new markets to its LTE roster. The markets are:

Carbondale-Marion, Ill.
Fort Pierce, Fla.
Fort Smith, Ariz.
Fresno, Calif.
Houma, La.
Jefferson City, Mo.
Lakeland-Winter Haven, Fla.
Las Cruces, N.M.
Montgomery, Ala.
Mount Vernon, Wash.
Palm Coast, Fla.
Temple-Killeen, Texas
