AT&T Kicks Off 2013 4G Marathon
The operator unveiled two new markets with the faster wireless data delivery technology this Thursday. The new 4G has been switched on in Macon, Ga. and Ithaca, N.Y., AT&T says. Here's a snapshot of where the major U.S. operators are now at with 4G LTE markets at the end of January:
Why this matters AT&T has said that it will push ahead of its original schedule and cover 250 million Americans with LTE in 2013. The aim is to blanket 300 million people -- the vast majority of the population -- in 2014
