LOS ANGELES -- Anritsu Company (OFC booth #1710) will be highlighting its 40/100G signal integrity solutions as part of its overall test solution portfolio during OFC 2012 in Los Angeles, March 6-8. In addition, Anritsu test instruments will be part of demonstrations being conducted by Kotura, Inc. (#1951) and Sumitomo Electric, Inc. (#1624), as Anritsu re-establishes its commitment to developing the analysis tools necessary for the design of Next Generation Networks (NGNs).

One feature product at OFC will be the MP1800A BERT Signal Quality Analyzer (SQA). Designed with an expandable and flexible configuration, and wideband frequency coverage from 100 Mbps to 56 Gbps, the MP1800A has a multiple synchronized 28G BERT with a built-in Pulse Pattern Generator (PPG) that supports output of high-quality, low intrinsic jitter signals, as well as a built-in Error Detector (ED) with high input sensitivity of 10 mV. The low intrinsic jitter and fast Tr/Tf capability allow the MP1800A to conduct highly accurate signal integrity analysis. Additionally, the BERT SQA’s 3.5Vp-p high output voltage allows it to drive optical components.

The MP1800A will be configured with new 32G multi-channel modules. With the modules, the BERT can analyze 100GbE designs, as well as OTU-4, 4x32G DP-QPSK, CEI-28G, 32G Fibre Channel, and Infiniband EDR.
