Adtran: Now Playing in Northwest Ohio

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. -- ADTRAN®, Inc., (NASDAQ:ADTN), a leading provider of next-generation networking solutions, announced today that Glandorf Telephone Company will be using ADTRAN’s Total Access 5000 broadband platform to enable high-speed broadband and video service to households in Northwest Ohio. Glandorf is utilizing the flexibility of the Total Access 5000 to deliver both Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) and Ultra Broadband services to both residential and business customers. Glandorf is reaching the unreachable with premium services by capitalizing on their extensive existing copper network to double the bandwidth service speed over bonded copper for rural residents who cannot be serviced by the fiber network. In addition, Glandorf is positioned to offer business class services from the same platform, increasing both revenue opportunities and customer base.

ADTRAN’s Total Access 5000 helps service providers like Glandorf Telephone Company reinvent their access networks by delivering broadband over both copper and fiber architectures. This enables service providers with the capacity and scalability needed to meet the growing demand for super-premium internet and HD video services while providing a seamless migration path for existing legacy services.
