Zen Internet Deploys ADVA's FSP 150

May 29, 2013 |
LONDON -- ADVA Optical Networking announced today that Zen Internet, a leading provider of award-winning Internet services to business and home users in the UK, has chosen the ADVA FSP 150 to scale its Ethernet delivery platform and efficiently hand over services to service provider partners. Integrated Etherjack technology provides Zen with comprehensive levels of service intelligence and end-to-end monitoring while a partnership with Imtech ICT UK ensures an always-on network. These tools are critical in the delivery of differentiated Carrier Ethernet services and the proactive monitoring of the network to guarantee and meet strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

“Our customers rely on our network 24/7, so we can’t risk their business or our reputation on infrastructure that has limited capabilities,” said Andrew Saunders, head of product management and marketing, Zen Internet. “That’s why we chose the ADVA FSP 150. It directly meets our challenges and enables us to save resources on backhaul provisioning and resolving network issues before they affect services. Through the creation of 200 new Points of Presence (PoPs), we are extending the availability of our Ethernet in the First Mile (EFM) and Optical Ethernet service with superior quality at industry leading prices.”
