Upgrades from financial analysts have given Alcatel-Lucent's share price an early year boost, though its stock is still only commanding a price of $1.46 on the New York Stock Exchange (up by 5 percent since the turn of the year) and €1.17 on the Paris exchange (up nearly 16 percent so far this year). For more on the upgrades, see this report and this analysis. The vendor recently arranged new credit facilities, a move that improved confidence in the company's future.
